For you guys up in the north :)

Finally you get some news to read here.. well, not exactly new.
Where shall I start?

Comming here was easy, take the train, load the bike and let the landcape pass by fot the next 10 hours or so.. mountains are really a great thing to see. The passage through the Arlberg is also very cool for people who like tunnels :) Walk back in the train to the very last carriage and take a long look at the black tunnel!
It was poring the day I arrived, Christian picked me up at Rotkreuz train station, gave me the shortest introduction tour I ever got anywhere, not because he is lazy, there is nothing more to say about the place I live now.. a bakery, a cash machine, a great looking restaurant and a post office with the bus station in front. We have mountains here, cows and cowbells, a church and churchbells, a great view of the Rigi and the Pilatus, and lots of fresh air.

Work is cool. I get to play around with the design software, right now I model parts, fittings and smaller stuff for training and because it's always good to be able to visualize the deck as close to reality as possible, it looks much better and its useful for the superlightweight yachts because you know exactly where to integrate mounting-possibilities in the composite skin.

Aside form that I bike a lot, hard to guess, huh? The shortest distance to the next super market is 4.4km and 250m altitude-difference one way, Luzerne is 12km and 250m altitude difference. The bonus is that biking is good for the legs :) I like it a lot, however insane this may sound to you.. And I row here, more than I have in Sweden. In the near future I will have the great honor to row at the Rotsee and I am really excited about that. Today I met Dave, the coach, and from next week on I will be in his training goup.. right now I am with a masters W8+, I don't fit in, but it was my first contact.

On monday Anja will come over for more than one week. The Word Cup will be going on at the Rotsee and we will do some of the big tourist things to do. Going up the Pilatus and Rigi, taking a trip on a steam liner, crossing the Gotthard Pass by bike and explore whats here, visit Stämpfli (Rowing boat yard), visit the company that builds their all-arbon-fibre boats, you have to take a look!
